In April 2010, Curtis and I were driving to Paradise to look for a piece of property where he could build his dream home. While en route, we passed a home in Hyrum and fell in love with it instantaneously. Curtis bought the home in Hyrum and over the next year, we will be doing a lot of work -- it is in pretty rough shape and needs some TLC!

Buried Treasures
Curtis hit paydirt the other day when he was working at the house. All of these items were found in one area of the house, buried behind a partial wall in the cellar. I know this house has been around for ages, but sometimes it is strange to think of the people who lived in this house when it was built in 1890.... or even in the roaring twenties.
Most of the items were pretty easy to identify. But there is one... we have NO IDEA what it is. Do you?? It is about 5 inches from the curved end to the broken link, and about 3-4 inches wide.

Wow, pay dirt! When we built I had a bunch of treasures I found too. There were some amazing old bottles and some still had "stuff" in them. Then, the sheet rockers came and the cool stuff disappeared! Must of been the gremlins cause nobody saw the stuff and of course nobody took the stuff!
